QUEENS, N.Y. (PIX11)-- Richard "Max" Albright disappeared from his job, his wife, and his home four years ago in a case PIX11 News first reported in November 2021.

Last week, his remains were discovered in a remote, off-limits area of College Point, Queens.

Despite the relief of finally finding him, his wife now fears foul play.

She returned to the site for the first time with PIX11 News, still searching for answers.

“There are lots of ‘No Trespassing’ signs — there’s barbed wire,” DiLorenzo asked. “Is this something your husband would ever ignore?”

“Absolutely not,” said Cathi Albright. “He respected everyone — property and laws.”

A four-year journey of worry and wonder has led Cathi here for the first time — to a sprawling vacant lot across from big box stores in College Point.
