PARIS, Ky. (FOX 56) — Bourbon Community Hospital announced it will cover athletic admission costs for all students at Paris Independent Schools, and thanks to help from other local sponsors as well, the hospital can say the same for Bourbon County Schools.

This collaboration offers free attendance to any athletic events hosted throughout the school year, including football, basketball, baseball, and other home games.

The goal of this partnership is to allow students to cheer on their classmates without the barrier of cost and, therefore, help strengthen community bonds.

Tommy Haggard, CEO of Bourbon Community Hospital, believes the initiative is about more than just sports.
