A driver was taken to the hospital Wednesday after a tree fell on his vehicle in Somerville, Massachusetts.
Fire officials said the tree came down on Paulina Street, hitting the moving vehicle and takin down power lines. It happened around 3 p.m.

The man's injuries are not considered life-threatening, the Somerville Fire Department said.
The tree also nearly hit Joseph Mulkern's parked car.
"I had gotten an email from somebody in the city of Somerville, saying, 'Hey could you move your car so we can get a tree out that fell down?'" he recalled. "It was very improbable that it all fell within like a centimeter of the car."
