ATLANTA — The last inmate who escaped from a jail in New Orleans was caught after a standoff with Atlanta Police on Wednesday afternoon, according to 11Alive's sister station in New Orleans, WWL , and Louisiana State Police .

The U.S. Marshals Service and Atlanta Police also confirmed that Groves has been captured.

Atlanta Police Department Deputy Chief Kelley Collier said law enforcement officers with the U.S. Marshals fugitive task force, APD, and Clayton County Police were able to arrest the 28-year-old at a home on Honeysuckle Lane.

"He is the tenth of 10 individuals to be taken into custody from the Orleans Parish incident," Collier said.

He added that the SWAT team was used to help bring home out of the home.
