PARIS, Tenn. (WSMV) - A crew of firefighters recently rescued a hunter who fell from a tree stand in a wooded area in Tennessee.

The Henry Volunteer Fire Department reports that crews were dispatched to help a hunter who fell from a tree stand on Wednesday afternoon.

Crews rushed to the area to find the hunter, who was about 10 minutes away from any local roadway in a wooded area.

Crews transported the victim by ATV to the ambulance. The ambulance to took the patient to a helipad.

“We ask y’all to keep this individual in your thoughts and prayers for a fast recovery,” HVFD said.
