This is a time where we honor the lives lost to breast cancer, support those going through the battle and cherish the ones who are in remission.
Breast cancer is the most common cancer in women. One in every eight women will be diagnosed with breast cancer in their lifetime.
Breast cancer awareness month aims to educate the public about breast cancer, its risk factors and symptoms, while also promoting early detection, screenings and annual mammograms.
