BISMARCK, N.D. (KFYR) - With the exception of skin cancers, breast cancer is most common among American women, according to the American Cancer Society.

October is breast cancer awareness month. Health experts say this is a reminder to all women to prioritize breast health and to schedule a mammogram.

Essentia is expanding its Mobile mammogram program to western North Dakota in the future. The trucks reduce travel time and eliminate barriers for women.
