OKLAHOMA CITY — Oklahoma City Community College will present Hasta La Muerte , a captivating theatrical tribute to Día de los Muertos , on October 22 at 7:30 p.m. in the Visual and Performing Arts Center.

Created by Las Cafeteras , this two-act performance honors the Indigenous and Mexican tradition of remembering departed loved ones through an evocative blend of original and traditional music , choreography, poetry and theater . The production follows La Catrina, Patron Saint of the Dead, as she comforts the living and shepherds souls to the afterlife, encountering iconic folkloric characters including La Llorona and La Bruja along her journey.
