Two people from Connecticut were killed early Thursday morning in a head-on collision on Kings Highway in Saugerties. According to local authorities, the crash occurred around 5:27 a.m. on October 9, when a southbound vehicle crossed into the opposite lane and struck an oncoming truck. The driver of the vehicle that crossed lanes and his 61-year-old female passenger were pronounced dead at the scene, while the other driver sustained injuries that were not considered life-threatening.
