AMARILLO, Texas (KAMR/KCIT) — The City of Amarillo invites the community to "Pirates of the Park," a two-part event featuring hot air balloons, a Halloween costume contest, food trucks and trick-or-treating.

The event is free and open to the public, scheduled to start at 7 a.m. on Oct. 25 at John Stiff Memorial Park; parking lots will open two hours before.

“Pirates of the Park brings back a fun and exciting event for the Amarillo community,” said City of Amarillo Assistant Director of Parks and Recreation (PARD) Becki Dryer. “This is a unique two-part event that residents can enjoy throughout the day.”
