BRIDGEPORT, W.Va. (WBOY) — The first-ever WBOY Job Fair was held at the Meadowbrook Mall in Bridgeport on Thursday. The station invited employers, ranging from healthcare to energy to education, to come and get some exposure.
This was WBOY's inaugural job fair, and it's something the station hopes to build on in the future to help support the community.
“It's just really, really important that we help our community grow, that we help our citizens of our community find jobs and do what they need to do," Ray Friend, General Sales Manager at WBOY, said about the event.
