ASHBURN, Va. — The new-to-Washington wide receiver Deebo Samuel been the most consistent playmaker for the Commanders through the first five games, with four total touchdowns already. He’s run the ball, caught the ball and returned kicks for the Commanders.
Samuel said one secret behind the success of his first year away from San Francisco has been the culture in Washington’s locker room.
"Just coming over here, not knowing too many people, but being around the guys for a couple days I just felt like I knew everybody," he said. "It’s just like the energy that the guys bring, and I think that just carries over to the game as in you’re playing for the man next to you, the name on the back of your jersey and your brother.”
