CHARLOTTE, N.C. (QUEEN CITY NEWS) -- A man released from Mecklenburg County jail Wednesday is now wanted by police two states away.

The Baltimore Police Department announced Thursday that officers are seeking Charles Boatwright, who is wanted in connection to the murder of a man killed July 13.

Boatwright, 55, was released at 9:30 p.m. Wednesday, county jail records show, after being held as a fugitive from another state since July 16. He was held under a $7.5 million bond.
