CHARLOTTE, N.C. (QUEEN CITY NEWS) — A homicide investigation is underway in northwest Charlotte.

The incident occurred in the 5000 block of Beatties Ford Road around 7:30 p.m. Sunday.

Medic reported that they responded to the scene for reports of a shooting. One person was pronounced dead at the scene.
