CANYON, Texas (KFDA) - An 18-year-old accused of planning a Fourth of July attack in Canyon was indicted on multiple charges.
According to Randall County District Attorney Robert Love, Kevin Alexander Hunt faces charges of terrorism, attempt to commit capital murder of multiple persons, and possession of components of explosives.
Love outlined the potential penalties for each charge.
Terrorism: First-degree felony, punishable by 15 years to life in prison.
Attempted capital murder of multiple persons: First-degree felony, punishable by 5 to 99 years or life in prison.
Possession of components of explosives: Third-degree felony, punishable by 2 to 10 years in prison.
