An elderly woman tourist from the United States died after she suddenly fell ill while travelling by train from Bharatpur to Ranthambore in Rakasthan on Thursday.
According to officials, the 85-year-old woman, identified as Noel, was part of a group of around 25 tourists visiting India. The group had travelled from Agra to Bharatpur by bus and was to continue their journey to Ranthambore by train. However, as the train reached Bharatpur railway station, Noel complained of severe chest pain and collapsed.
She was immediately taken to the RBM District Hospital, where doctors declared her dead on arrival. Preliminary reports suggest that she may have suffered a heart attack. The body has been kept in the hospital mortuary, and a post-mortem examination will be conducted on Friday to ascerta
