PEMBROKE — Pembroke Day, an annual celebration showcasing area businesses, student organizations and community nonprofits, will be held Thursday, Oct. 16, on the campus of UNC Pembroke.

Now in its 35th year, the event will take place from 3 p.m. to 7 p.m. on the Quad between Old Main and the Mary Livermore Library. Each year, Pembroke Day draws dozens of vendors representing local businesses, healthcare providers, student clubs, academic departments and community agencies. Attendees can enjoy promotional giveaways, informational displays and handcrafted items.
