The date the UK snow blast will "move" from Scotland to England in October has been revealed. According to WX Charts, the UK faces days of snow as temperatures plunge with the mercury plummetting as we head through October.
New maps by forecaster WX Charts, which uses Met Desk data, suggest Scotland could be hit by flurries of the white stuff in and around October 23. The date the snow will then "reach England" is the following day: October 24.
Flurries of 1cm per hour begin to settle across areas in the south of Scotland. Snow then moves south into England - with areas like the Pennines, Greater Manchester and Lancashire at risk.
