A pharmacist has urged Brits who test positive for Covid to stay home for at least five days to prevent the spread of two new strains.
Stratus (XFG) and Nimbus (NB. 1.8.1) are the two variants which are sweeping the UK at the moment, with health professionals warning of a key characteristic sign which often accompanies both.
The 'razor blade' sore throat has begun to be associated with the strains, as individuals have complained of Covid currently being the 'worst it's ever been.'
George Sandhu, deputy superintendent of Well Pharmacy, is now suggesting anyone who has this sign to pick up a Covid test if possible.
Mr Sandhu has reiterated the importance of everyone knowing the signs and symptoms of Covid - which was contracted by 447 in the week to September 24 - a rise o
