Dodgers fans waited 16 long years before they had their shot at redemption against the Philadelphia Phillies in October.

After a crushing defeat in Game 3, Game 4 featured a pitcher’s duel between Tyler Glasnow and Cristopher Sánchez. Scoring was hard to come by for both sides, but in the bottom of the 11th inning with the bases loaded and two outs, Andy Pages, who carried a .044 average in the postseason, had his bat shattered on an inside pitch that rolled back to Phillies reliever Orion Kerkering.

Kerkering panicked, opted to throw to the plate instead of first base, sent it careening past J.T. Realmuto, and that was all she wrote for the NLDS.
