Thousands of people are without power in the Centerville area.

According to the AES Ohio outage map, there are 2,598 customers in Centerville impacted as of writing. The map reports a total of 5,174 people without power in AES Ohio's coverage area.

According to a spokesperson with AES Ohio, crews are on scene handling an issue at the substation in Centerville. The number of outages was initially at around 9,000.

There is no estimated time yet for when power will be restored.
