OURAY COUNTY, Colo. (KREX) - The driver of a Ford F150 was traveling on U.S. Highway 550 on Thursday when it failed to maintain its lane, going down the Red Mountain Pass ravine, according to the Colorado State Patrol.

The crash closed the highway at Mile Point 88 for several hours due to the vehicle going down a steep embankment before rolling and landing on its roof.

The driver, who was the only occupant in the vehicle, had moderate to minor injury, according to CSP. He was issued a citation for the crash.

The highway reopened a few hours after the crash.
