Dear Editor,

It has been an absolute honor to meet with so many Town of Newburgh voters over these past few months as I run for a seat on the Newburgh Town Council. Our discussions have been open and candid about your unease with the direction our town is headed.

You have expressed concerns about the unsafe traffic patterns, high property and school taxes, and having to spend your hard-earned tax dollars outside our town due to the lack of local amenities here for dining, shopping, entertainment, and family and senior activities year-round.

Repeatedly, I listened to your frustration with the excessive number of storage units (over 15!) and warehouses that continue to pop up in prime locations. These buildings have made our town a drive-through thru not a destination. We need places to
