NORWALK, Conn. (WTNH) -- A motorcyclist is facing drug charges after fleeing from police during a foot pursuit Thursday evening in Norwalk.
Authorities said they seized two bags of cocaine, 10 smaller bags of cocaine, 15 Xanax bars and 15 oxycodone pills that tested positive for fentanyl.
It happened around 6:32 p.m., when police saw a motorcycle traveling west on Sunset Hill without a registration plate. Authorities said they tased Vladimir Raules-Espinosa, 33, of Samford, after he dropped the motorcycle and fled on foot when police attempted to stop him.
Police said they initially tried to stop him at a red light and told him to turn off the motorcycle, but he refused and tried to maneuver around the officer.
Raules-Espinosa was charged with possession with intent to sell narcotics,
