PINE BLUFF, Ark. — Pine Bluff police are now searching for the suspect in a shooting, where a man was shot in the leg during a gunfire exchange at an apartment complex.

According to reports, the shooting happened at the Broadmoor Arms Apartments located at 801 S. Wisconsin St. on October 9.

When officers arrived, they found a bullet hole in the window of an apartment, several other bullet holes in a wall leading to an inside stairwell, along with spent shell casings in a landing area.

The apartment owner, along with three males, stated that they were inside the apartment when someone began shooting from outside, then kicked in the front door. One of the men informed officers that he then returned fire from inside the apartment with an AR-15.
