CALDWELL, Ohio — A Zanesville man was arrested after he reportedly made death threats toward a Noble County sheriff, according to Ohio Attorney General Dave Yost's office.
The attorney's office said 30-year-old Tyler Eschman was arrested on Thursday following an investigation by the Ohio Bureau of Criminal Investigation.
Eschman allegedly made threats against Noble County Sheriff Jason Mackie's life.
He was arrested on a warrant for an separate incident and charged in Noble County with intimidation, a third-degree felony, and menacing by stalking, a fourth-degree felony.
Eschman was arraigned Friday and is being held on a $100,000 bond.
