COLUMBUS, Ohio — Two people were injured in a shooting Sunday evening in east Columbus, according to a public safety dispatcher for the city.

Officers with the Columbus Division of Police were called around 6:55 p.m. to the intersection of Continental Drive and Manring Court near Tussing Road on a report of a shooting.

The dispatcher told 10TV that two people were taken to Mount Carmel East, one in critical condition and another in "stable" condition.

No additional details about what led to the shooting or a possible suspect were immediately available.

The shooting remains under investigation.
