Allen Park — It's not every play, and it's not readily identifiable. But if you watch the Detroit Lions close enough, you'll notice rookie defensive tackle Tyleik Williams dropping to a knee at the start of certain reps, then popping back up as he's being engaged by the opponent.

It's a strategy Williams first learned at Ohio State. The goal is to drop down and anchor while being double-teamed, in hopes of becoming as immovable as possible. If Williams can maintain his gap and occupy two offensive linemen, the door is opened for a linebacker to come up and make a play.
