BLUEFIELD, WV (WVNS) -- Student transportation at Bluefield State University was expanded with the help of two community partners.

According to a press release, three new passenger vans were added to the Bluefield State University fleet with the help of The Hugh I. Shott, Jr. Foundation, Inc. and The Paul and Carol Cole Foundation, Inc.

Reliable transportation is vital to connecting our students with opportunities beyond campus. We are deeply grateful to the Shott Foundation and the Cole Foundation for their generous support. These vans will help us expand learning, service, and engagement experiences for our students.
