FAIRMONT — Saberia “Star” Singletary, a Fairmont native and rising author and playwright, is expanding her creative empire with a new streaming service.

Singletary began her creative career at a young age, her love of romance stories sparking in the seventh grade after watching “Something’s Gotta Give,” the 2003 romantic comedy movie by Nancy Meyers. Inspired by the dramatic relationships and complex interpersonal dynamics shown on screen, Singletary began working on her first published novel, “His Battle, Her Love.”
