WICHITA, Kan. (KWCH) - The Kansas Bureau of Investigation (KBI) shared the results of the statewide marijuana enforcement operation it conducted between Oct. 1 and Oct. 2.
Preliminary results of the items taken during this operation include:
343.38 pounds of flower (also known as marijuana bud)
43,867 THC pre-rolls (also known as pre-rolled joints)
35,627 THC vapes
84,481 THC and psilocybin edibles
$35,436 in currency
Two people were arrested in Ulysses on Oct. 2 for moving illegal THC products to evade law enforcement detection.
This included Gregory Reese, 63, and Tammy Reese, 59. Gregory was arrested for possession with the intent to distribute, unlawful possession of a controlled substance, possession of drug paraphernalia, interference with law enforcement, and no Kansas drug
