New Delhi, Oct 11 (UNI) Prime Minister Narendra Modi today launched two major agricultural initiatives, the PM Dhan-Dhaanya Krishi Yojana and the Pulses Aatmanirbharta Mission, in New Delhi.

These schemes aim to transform India’s agriculture sector by increasing productivity, promoting crop diversification, and enhancing farmers’ income.

“We are working day and night for the welfare of our farmer, livestock herder, and fisherman brothers and sisters,” PM Modi said. “For the self-reliance of the country, for the welfare of farmers… two new schemes are being launched. These initiatives will empower our farmers and future generations.”

“On one hand, we need to be self-reliant. On the other hand, we also need to produce for the global market,” he said.
