OMAHA, Neb. (WOWT) - We’ll start the weekend with high clouds increasing from the west. There is a small chance of a sprinkle from some of these as they thicken even more but overall the majority of us will stay dry. Clouds should clear some this afternoon.

As we go through the day we should notice the SSE gusts pick up some. They’ll likely be near 25 mph by the end of the day and persist through the night. They likely increase some too.

Clouds should increase again tonight and that will lead to some very spotty showers by early Sunday morning. Overall again many of us will stay dry. More showers and spotty storms are possible after 6pm into the overnight too but there is no threat of severe at this point.

In between we should be able to warm quite a bit for this time in October. Averag
