An electrical fire in central Lincoln sent a good Samaritan to the hospital on Friday.

Lincoln Fire & Rescue responded to the fire at 1112 S. 13th St. about 8:30 p.m.

An occupant of the house was evacuated, unhurt. But a bystander who tried to help the occupant was taken to a hospital with minor injuries, according to LFR.

A firefighter also suffered a minor injury.

The fire caused about $50,000 damage to the structure, LFR said.
