The Latest Storm Tracker Forecast from Meteorologist Kevin Appleby:
A coastal low will send clouds to our skies later today, but rain chances for Saturday remain very low. Rain chances increase at we go through the PM hours of Sunday - but especially overnight into Monday. Drier, cool weather follows this up for the rest of next week.
Morning sun will mix with more PM cloud cover, particularly down towards the south/southwest. I can't totally rule out a late-afternoon sprinkle or quick shower over the Mohawk Valley, Catskills, or Mid-Hudson Valley, but coverage and intensity of any wet weather Saturday will be very light and underwhelming.
Cloud cover will continue to overspread the region overnight, keeping temperatures on the milder side. Many will stay in the 40s this time around.
