NEW MILFORD, Conn — No injuries were reported after a single-engine plane crashed at Candlelight Farms Airport in New Milford on Friday evening, according to New Milford police.

Police were called to the airport around 7:45 p.m. after someone called 911 reporting a plane crash.

Responding officers, along with fire and EMS crews, found the single-engine aircraft at the scene. There were no injuries reported, police said. It is not known at this time how many people were on board.

Details of the flight and what led up to the crash were not immediately available.

The Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) and the National Transportation Safety Board (NTSB) were notified and are investigating the crash, police said.
