DUBUQUE COUNTY, Iowa — One person was injured Friday after a crash involving a pickup truck and a semi truck in Dubuque County.

Iowa State Patrol said a Chevrolet Silverado and a semi truck were traveling north on Highway 151 around 5 p.m. Friday.

Authorities said the semi slowed down to make a right turn when the Silverado hit the back of the semi truck.

The driver of the Silverado was taken to a local hospital.

The crash remains under investigation by the Iowa State Patrol.
