This is perfect for busy families, it’s called “Always in the Freezer Pulled Pork” why… because you can make a big batch, toss it in the freezer and always have at lest five different meals you can make at the drop of a hat.
So, you’re going to start with a pork shoulder. This cut comes from the shoulder ad has a lot of marbling and connective tissue which make it flavorful and tender when it’s cooked low and slow, making it perfect for shredding.
We are going to make a nice spice blend with brown sugar, paprika, chili powder and cayenne. This roast can really stand up to some bold spices and dry rubs so feel free to get creative!
