DAYTON, Ohio (WDTN) – A 19-year-old young woman has changed her plea to guilty for the July 6 Cambridge House Apartment fire, which displaced dozens of people.
On Oct. 8, she pleaded guilty and was charged with arson. Hines will face three to four years, be registered as an arson offender for life and she will pay 10k to the apartment for damage.
Riley Hines was charged with aggravated arson and initially pleaded Not Guilty Reason of Insanity (NGRI). She had a mental evaluation done prior to her Sept. 9 competency hearing.
