DAYTON, Ohio (WDTN) – The 8th annual nonpartisan Rock da Vote event gave voters the chance to directly ask Montgomery County political candidates questions ahead of the election this Saturday afternoon.

The “A Gathering for Hope, Respect, and Civic Pride” event was organized by Neighborhoods Over Politics (NOP) and held in the Sinclair Community College Auditorium on Saturday, Oct. 11, from noon to 2 p.m.

Special guests included Senator Nina Turner and Jamica Garrison, who is running for the DPS School Board. The event was emceed by Fred Cox and the live DJ was DJ UpaNotch.
