DAYTON, Ohio (WDTN) – An official with the Jefferson Regional Water Authority has said its customers are under a precautionary boil advisory because they are switching between two wells.
The advisory is in place until further notice.
The JRWA asked its customers to follow the CDC guidelines for boil water advisories. Notable advice includes: • If you do not have commercially bottled water available, boil your tap water at a full rolling boil for 1 minute. You need to boil your water even if you have a home water filter or a filter pitcher. • Use commercially bottled water for cooking / drinking if possible. • Don’t swallow water while bathing and showering. Use commercially bottled water for brushing your teeth. • Try to use disposable plates, cups, and utensils during a boil wat
