For Carly Atwood , a junior at Westfall, the Circleville Pumpkin Show is more than just a few days off school filled with rides, food, and friends — it’s part of who she is.

“My parents have taken me to the Pumpkin Show ever since I was a baby,” she said. “The smell of pumpkin donuts, the sound of the parade of bands, and the sight of the giant pumpkins all bring back great memories. Every October, I get to see familiar faces, spend time with family and friends, and make new memories that last a lifetime.”

Growing up in Circleville, she says the Pumpkin Show helped her appreciate her roots.

“When someone asks where I’m from, I always say, ‘Circleville — you know, like the Circleville Pumpkin Show.’ I’m proud to be part of a community with such a meaningful tradition.”
