FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WPTA) - A local organization is sharing how its fundraising efforts are paying off.
This week, Fort Wayne Animal Care and Control (FWACC) announced that its Paws and Run 5K raised over $3000 for its Angel Fund.
Held at Buckner Park last weekend, the Paws and Run 5K provided community members an opportunity to run (or walk) with their furry friends. FWACC’s Angel Fund helps provide medical care to animals coming into the shelter.
In addition to Paws and Run 5K, FWACC says it has one more fundraiser this month: Howl-O-Walkoween.
Part of Fort Wayne’s annual Fright Night festivities downtown, Howl-O-Walkoween will be held at the Promenade Park pavilion on Saturday, October 18.
