WINCHESTER, Ky. (FOX 56) — Detectives in Winchester have identified and arrested three people after multiple cars were broken into on the south end of town in late September.

Officials with the Winchester Police Department (WPD) wrote on Facebook on Oct. 11 that the first suspect, 19-year-old Charles Clark, was arrested through a tip to investigators, but he was uncooperative with law enforcement and was eventually released after posting bond. Still, due to surveillance camera footage of the thefts, authorities knew he was allegedly working with two others.

Winchester police wrote that around 9 p.m. on Friday, Oct. 10, officers were dispatched to a residence on South Main Street after getting a call about glass breaking and flashlights spotted in the area.
