BENTONVILLE, Ark. (KNWA/KFTA) — 100+ entrepreneurs earned ‘Golden Tickets’ at Walmart’s 2025 Open Call, securing spots for their products on Walmart and Sam’s Club shelves and online.

Open Call, called ‘Walmart at its best’ by John Furner, President and CEO of Walmart U.S., is part of the company’s ongoing efforts to source and sell U.S.-made products. In 2021, Walmart announced a 10-year, $350 billion initiative to support American manufacturing and job creation.

From thousands of applicants, more than 500 entrepreneurs representing 47 states, Washington, D.C. and Puerto Rico attended the event in Bentonville, the company said in a news release.

For the first time, the 2025 Open Call was hosted at Walmart’s newly opened Bentonville headquarters.
