The Brewers Association (BA) has unveiled the award winners for its 2025 Great American Beer Festival (GABF).

As was the case in 2024, two Minnesota brewers earned a gold medal.

In total, four of the state's breweries were among the 273 to win a medal. The winners were unveiled on Saturday, Oct. 11, the conclusion of a three-phase, seven-day process that involved 250 judges evaluating 8,315 beers and ciders.

For the second year in a row, Northbound Smokehouse and Brewpub earned a gold medal for its Eisbock in the German-Style Doppelbock or Eisbock category.

Lupulin Brewing in Big Lake also took home a gold for its Oktoberfest, winning the German-Style Maerzen category. It's the brewery's third medal and second gold.
