HOLYOKE, Mass. (WWLP) - The city of Holyoke celebrated community and culture with the return of 'Doors Open Holyoke,' an event organized by the Office of Planning and Economic Development.
For the fifth year, local businesses, cultural institutions, and historic spaces opened their doors free of charge, allowing residents and visitors to explore the city's offerings.
"My favorite thing about Holyoke is how the community comes together," said Katie Lovely, an employee at Holyoke Nutrition.
Juan Uribe, organizer of the Paper City Food Festival, added, "When something happens, everybody comes together and helps each other out."
