On Saturday at 3:04 p.m. a wind advisory was issued by the National Weather Service valid from Sunday noon until Monday 6 p.m. for Manhattan, the Bronx and Staten Island as well as Westchester County.

The weather service adds, "Northeast winds 20 to 30 mph with gusts up to 45 mph expected."

"Gusty winds will blow around unsecured objects. Tree limbs could be blown down and a few power outages may result," says the weather service. "Winds this strong can make driving difficult, especially for high profile vehicles. Use extra caution. Secure outdoor objects."
