Two Quebecers face a list of charges after authorities stopped an attempted drone drop of contraband at Millhaven Institution in Bath on Thursday night.

A mixed squad of Correctional Services of Canada and officers from several Ontario Provincial Police detachments launched a joint operation following reports of a possible drone delivery at the prison.

Officers located a suspect vehicle near the site and arrested two people after a brief investigation.

Police said they seized about 120 grams of suspected ecstasy, nearly 150 grams of cannabis, 40 grams of “shatter,” 270 grams of hashish and 100 grams of tobacco.
