CLARKSBURG, W.Va. (WBOY) — Students at Pierpont College's vet tech program had the opportunity to work with pets on Saturday during its community pet wash event.

Pet owners in the Clarksburg area brought their dogs and cats to the Pierpont Community & Technical College to get their nails trimmed, have a bath and to get other services done by the students.

“We like getting our first years, practice with restraint on actual dogs that haven’t been handled all through their life," said Lucien Davidson, President of the student vet tech association. "So, it gives them experience but also provides an opportunity for the community to get their pets washed especially with the winter months coming ahead,"
